Chilled Water Systems

Andress Engineering recently completed a full system expansion, doubling the chilled water capacity for a plastics facility in the Atlanta area. AEA engineers were requested to come in and evaluate the system then provide options for expansion of the chilled water system. AEA engineers provided a turn key solution for this customer. Our support included specification of the proper system to be installed based on the clients cooling requirements. AEA provided a 250ton air cooled water chiller from one of Daikin manufacturing. After providing the equipment. AEA won a competitive bid to also provide full installation and start up services on the system. AEA installed new piping, two pumps operated by VFD controllers, and the chiller system. We provided both electrical and mechanical installation on this system.

 AEA worked closely with the plant to accommodate a demanding production schedule. Much of the work was completed during off hours, nights and weekends so as to provide minimal disruption to production requirements.
