A white image with a vertical bar graph in the center featuring eight yellow bars and a semi-transparent gray dotted line crossing at an angle from the top of the first bar to the middle of the eighth bar. Each bar is labeled at the bottom with a month from May to December and a number at the top of the bar indicating its value. From left to right, the bars are valued 18, 21, 15, 16, 16, 14, 14, and 18. The label of the graph, gray text centered at the bottom of the image, reads Twists per Hour A Caucasian person with their head down and face not visible to camera, wearing a green hard hat, a maroon T-shirt, blue safety sleeves with white buckles at the top, denim blue jeans, and a black Modjoul SmartBelt through the loops of their jeans. The person is standing in a white hallways with two light brown wooden doors and a yellow industrial canister behind them, and a white wall hanger holding several SmartBelts on the wall next to the person.

Modjoul is working with a major steel producer with multiple facilities across the United States to better understand lower lumbar risks associated with their daily tasks and responsibilities. By utilizing the Modjoul Smartbelt which monitors and records real time movement data and uploads it to an easily digestible dashboard. That data was used to review regularly with team members on the floor. Using the data, the team was able to reduce total number of hourly bends by almost 40% in less than 6 months. They reduced the number of hourly twists by 21%. The customer cites a 30% company wide reduction in sprains and strains after using the Modjoul belt.  The Modjoul platform empowers EHS managers to identify workplace dangers before they happen.

If you are interested in reducing workplace injuries or learning more about the Modjoul platform, contact Andress Engineering. We would be happy to set up a free online demo of the dashboard or help you start a pilot program!
