Andress Engineering has a 2013 LEAF locomotive available for sale now. This unit was recently taken out of service at a major power plant in the southeast. The unit was in daily service and is only being sold because the plant has converted from Coal to Natural Gas. This 2013 LEAF has recently been inspected by manufacturer technicians. All components were found to be in good working order.

This 2013 LEAF locomotive was built on a SW7 core. The unit was in daily service until the power plant in service recently converted to natural gas. This LEAF Weighs approximately 271,000lbs. Produces up to 81,300lbs of starting tractive effort. It includes a Cummins QSX15 Tier III Engine with 600HP. PLC Can-Bus control system. Cattron Remote control system. D77 Traction motors. FAT 40 wheels new at delivery, wheel report below.
