On a tight budget and making your own repairs? Beyond new Trackmobile parts, Andress has older Trackmobiles that are no longer in service. We call these "part out machines." Check out the bottom of our used equipment page for a list of available part out machines. These units can be bought entirely or you can contact our team and purchase just the parts you need. One of our Trackmobile parts specialists will work with you to determine exactly what you need and get it to you.
What happens to older Trackmobile railcar movers? In our service facilities, we regularly upgrade and overhaul existing Trackmobiles. Our technicians can install new engines and transmissions. If your electrical systems are having issues, consider having your unit rewired. Many Trackmobiles can be upgraded to modern controls when they are rewired. Having issues with the Trackmobile frame and core components? We can replace axles, repair and replace differentials, and all of your axle assembly components. Is your railcar mover having hydraulic issues? AEA can troubleshoot hydraulic issues. We can provide everything from rebuilt and new hydraulic pumps, to replacing hydraulic lines, to complete hydraulic overhauls. Andress also often supports Shuttlewagon™ and Rail King™ Railcar movers. Where can you rent a railcar mover? Andress Engineering has a fleet of Trackmobile railcar movers available for rent at all times. Andress Engineering’s rental fleet is one of the newest in the rail industry. We purchase almost exclusively new Trackmobile Titans and maintain them in top condition to be ready at a moment's notice.
Whether it is for the short-term or long-term, an Andress rental Trackmobile is the easiest way to put a Trackmobile on-site. When you rent a track mobile from Andress, we will fully train you on the unit. Rentals from Andress Engineering include all service and repairs in one flat price, subject to T&C. You can keep the unit as long or as short as you like. Call us when you are ready to return the unit and we will come and pick it up.
Andress rental units are maintained almost strictly by AEA factory-trained technicians. Beyond Titans, we also have a selection of the largest Trackmobile Atlas railcars mover. With the increased size of the Atlas, our Trackmobiles can be a great substitute for sites with a locomotive. Is your locomotive being overhauled or down for several weeks? Contact AEA to try out an Atlas. Just don’t be surprised if you want to keep it after seeing what it can do! Andress also has several additional legacy Trackmobiles for rent, like the popular magnum series 4150TM, 4650TM, and 9TM. Legacy models and availability will vary.
